Prepare for tryouts and the upcoming season with BC Spartans Summer Development Camps. Our camps are designed to get players physically and mentally ready to perform at their best heading into evaluations and the hockey season ahead.
All camps feature professional instruction, high-tempo training environments, and age-appropriate development focused on skating, puck skills, hockey IQ, confidence, and compete level.

POWER SKATING CAMP

Our BC Spartans Power Skating Camp is designed to improve skating mechanics, edge control, acceleration, agility, balance, and overall skating efficiency. Players will work on explosive starts, transitions, speed with the puck, and game-specific skating techniques through high-repetition drills and professional instruction.
This camp is ideal for players preparing for rep tryouts and looking to gain a skating advantage heading into the season.

The BC Spartans Full Day High Performance Camp provides players with a complete development experience focused on skating, puck skills, shooting, passing, hockey IQ, small area games, and compete level.
Players will train in a fast-paced, positive environment designed to maximize puck touches, confidence, and game readiness leading into evaluations and the season ahead. Each day consists of 2 x 75 min ice times, hockey specific off-ice training, and a fun daily activity. Lunch and Snacks are not provided.

WEST VAN FULL DAY HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMP

GAME PLAY CAMP

This camp is ideal for players preparing for evaluations and looking to sharpen their decision-making and compete level before tryouts.

The BC Spartans Rep Prep Camp is specifically designed to prepare players for upcoming rep evaluations and tryouts. Sessions focus on pace, skating, compete drills, puck management, battle situations, and game awareness in a demanding and high-tempo environment.

REP PREP CAMP

This U13 Rep Prep Camp is built for players looking to sharpen their game before competitive evaluations begin. Players will work on skating, puck control, small area compete drills, hockey IQ, and game situations designed to replicate tryout intensity and pace.
The goal is to help players arrive at evaluations confident, prepared, and ready to compete.

BODY CHECKING CAMP
LOCATION: CANLAN NORTH VANCOUVER

The BC Spartans Body Checking Camp teaches players how to safely give and receive body contact while improving confidence along the boards and in game situations. Players will learn proper angling, positioning, contact preparation, puck protection, and checking techniques through progressive drills and controlled instruction.
This camp is designed to help players safely transition into body checking hockey while building confidence heading into the season.
