Register Now for our BC Spartans Development Program. At this time we have opened online registration up for our U11 / U13 / U15 Development Teams. We are really excited about this program and what we have lined up for the players on these teams including playing a weekly game in that YHL at Canlan North Shore! See below to learn more.
U11- 2016 / 2017 birth years
Team Practice Fridays 4:00-4:50pm and Saturday Morning Weekly YHL Game
U13- 2014 / 2015 birth years
Team Practice Fridays 5:00-5:50pm and Saturday Morning Weekly YHL Game
U15- 2012 / 2013 birth years
Team Practice Fridays 6:00-6:50pm and Saturday Morning Weekly YHL Game
Each team also has bi-weekly skills practice Tuesday mornings at Canlan North Shore
All Ice times are at Canlan North Shore for our Development Teams

The Spartans Spring Hockey program offers competitive teams in a number of age divisions (2011 to 2019 birth years) and is open to hockey players from the North Shore and the surrounding nearby communities. All Development team practices and YHL games will be held at Canlan North Shore this season. Our Program Director James Wall will be the Head Coach of all of our Development teams this spring.
BC Spartans Spring Hockey offers premium coaching with a focus on skill development. Our program provides an opportunity for highly skilled and motivated hockey players to play with each other, to learn from each other and to develop relationships within a structured environment led by professional coaches and mentors. Our motto is "Perfect Practice.”
The Spring 2026 season begins the week of March 30 and practices will end by June 14, 2026. YHL season ends weekend of June 22, 2026.
BC Spartans teams will consist of 15 skaters per team, with 1 or 2 affiliate players and goalies. Affiliate players will be offered to attend practices and will attend games as needed.
Each team will receive:
1 x Practice per week
1 x Weekly YHL League Game (guaranteed 10 games min!)
5 x Additional Skills Clinics led by outside Skills Coach
Professional Coaches at each ice time
Practice Jersey
SEASON COST: $1,350.00 + GST ($50 per ice time)
Goalie Cost: $750.00 + GST
Non-Refundable $600 deposit payable upon registration.
