2016 Bantam Premier Spring Development Program

2001 / 2002 / 2003 Birth Years

The BC Spartans Bantam Spring Development Program is geared towards motivated players looking to improve their game and prepare for the upcoming season. All of our instructors have played hockey at an elite level and have minimum of 5 years coaching experience. The program will consist of 16 ice times running from March 31st to May 26th on Monday and Thursday mornings from 6:00-7:00am at Canlan North Vancouver. Please note no sessions on the Holiday Mondays. Each week will consist of two ice times that will have separate focuses. On Mondays North Vancouver Minor Hockey Director Dan Cioffi will focus on individual tactics. These sessions will focus on helping each player improve their positioning, awareness, and overall hockey sense. On Thursdays James Wall, Spartans Director and West Vancouver Minor Hockey Director, will focus on Technical skills such as: skating and stride development, stick handling, elusive puck handling, shooting mechanics, goal scoring, and checking.

COST: $650 (tax included)

Goalies: ProFormance Goaltending will attend one session per week.

Whistler Allstar Tournament

At the end of the 8 weeks players will be given the opportunity to continue on and join us in the Whistler Spring Tournament. There will be an additional cost to join us for an additional 2.5 weeks of practices and the tournament. Please let us know if you would be interested in this opportunity.
