North Shore based Premier Spring Hockey Program

Dear BC Spartans Families,

This spring, the North Shore Winter Club is undergoing an ice plant upgrade that is causing the arena to close for maintenance for the majority of the spring 2019 season. Due to this reason, for the spring 2019 season we will play at the West Vancouver Arena (22nd and Marine Drive, West Vancouver). We have already locked in prime time hours during the week and on weekends, ensuring that we will offer you the premium spring hockey experience you have come to expect from us. Some ice times may be held at Canlan North Vancouver, if necessary.

We genuinely enjoy the quality of service we have been provided through the North Shore Winter Club and look forward to making more amazing memories with their admirable dedication to the sport and to all players on all levels. That being said, we’re quite pleased to be able to work with these additional venues as we move forward towards another incredible season.

The Spartans has always been dedicated to safety, hard work, and excellent sportsmanship. It’s out continuing goal to instill these values into each and every one of our players as we push to cultivate talent and skill within a safe and courteous environment.

That said, we invite you all to come out to our upcoming 2019 Elite Team try outs starting on Monday, October 8th.

BC Spartans tryouts will happen in December, and all information for these tryouts will be provided soon as well. Based on the feedback we received, these tryouts will be done separately this season and will not be part of the Elite tryout process.

Please see our Elite Team tryouts page for additional times, information, locations, and to register and stay tuned for updates on our BC Spartan Tryouts.

  • My son can't wait until the start of spring hockey. There is nothing like the intensity, focus and camaraderie that is found when playing spring hockey.
